Tha na seòid air am brosnachadh gus còcaireachd le àmhainn Tandoor. Às dèidh tadhal air Còcaire Anil ann an cidsin taigh-òsta ionadail airson comhairle fhaighinn, tha iad a’ tilleadh dhan chidsin aca fhèin sa bhàthaich far a bheil àmhainn Tandoor ùr. An seo, tha na seòid a’ cruthachadh bangaid bheag san Tandoor. Nam measg, tha Cearc Tandoori, Chops Feòil-uain air bioran-ròstaidh leis a’ bhrìgheachadh sònraichte aig Ùisdean, a bharrachd air Adag Tikka agus Paneer. Tha iad cuideachd ag ullachadh Rus Pilaf agus tha Ruairidh a’ cur a dhreach fhèin air Buntàta Bombay - Buntàta ‘Bàgh Bhuirgh’, airson a ghabhail leis na thig às an àmhainn. Agus, cha bhiodh biadh Tandoor slàn às aonais Naan, a tha air a dhèanamh le Ruairidh.
The lads are inspired to cook with a tandoori oven. After visiting chef Anil for some expert advice in a local hotel kitchen, they head back to their barn kitchen and their new oven. Here the lads create a small feast of tandoor cooked meals, including the traditional tandoori chicken, skewered lamb chops in Uisdean’s special marinade, while haddock tikka and paneer are also prepared. To accompany the oven cooked food they prepare pilaf rice and “Borve Bay” potatoes, Ruaraidh’s take on bombay potato. And no tandoor meal would be complete without naan, prepared by Ruaraidh.
