Cerys welcomes award winning blues singer Mud Morganfield to the Radio 2 Blues Show to share his favourite tracks and discuss the influence of his father, Muddy Waters.

Mud is the eldest son of legendary bluesman Muddy Waters, he learnt to play the drums aged seven before switching to bass and delving into songwriting. It wasn't until after his father's death in 1983 he considered the idea of becoming a professional musician. Blues fans were introduced to Mud at a tribute concert to his father in 2007, but his performance at the Chicago Blues Festival that same year brought him instant recognition. Since then Mud's released 5 studio albums and continues to tour.
