Prom
Three more young designers create outfits for the runway from preloved clothes and materials - today based on a prom theme. Hosted by Emma Willis with guest judge Tilly Lockey
In episode two of this sustainable fashion competition show hosted by Emma Willis, we meet three more of the nine young designers hoping to win themselves a show at London Fashion Week: Lyra from Brighton, Kristian from the Midlands and Cara from Belfast.
Today’s theme is Prom as set by model, singer and influencer Tilly Lockey, who also acts as our surprise celebrity judge.
The designers have just five hours to create prom-themed outfits for the runway, using only preloved and rescued clothes and materials found in the Fashion Closet.
Alongside Tilly Lockey, resident judges Ayishat Akanbi and Jorge Antonio crown today’s Design Star, who will take home the ‘ultimate fashion accessory’, a much-coveted golden coat hanger.
And the surprise Spot Challenge sees our designers challenged to create a modern twist on a traditional accessory.
Plus Jorge and Ayishat share tips on how to add a touch of prom glamour to your everyday look
