The ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Martyn Brabbins are joined by George McPhee on organ, as well as Paisley Abbey choir and the choirs of St Giles Cathedral and St Maryβs Cathedral in Edinburgh. Highlights include the Scottish premier of Patrick Doyleβs King Charles III Coronation March, and Saint SaΓ«ns' mighty Symphony No 3, the Organ Symphony, as well as choral works by Walton, Parry, Gabrielli and Tallis. Thereβs a new album from Sean Shibe exploring music written by South American composers and Jamie shares news of a brand new contemporary music festival this month as The Night With... festival launches. Finally, ahead of Scottish Operaβs performances in Paisley Town Hall, Jamie whets our appetite with Humperdinckβs Hansel and Gretel opera.
