Debbie Ross is a highly accomplished fiddler hailing from the town of Alness, where she has been immersed in traditional music and culture since childhood. As a dedicated music educator, Debbie has inspired and bolstered so many young musicians, many of whom have gone on to have very successful music careers at the top of the Scottish folk scene - Anna Massie included! Her 30 years of involvement and 20 years at the helm of Gizzen Briggs, a musical community group centred around Tain Royal Academy, has seen her become a stalwart of the scene for three decades.

This year, Debbie is being honoured as one of the new inductees to the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame for her services to community. She joins Anna live to talk about her amazing life's work, dedicated to music.
