Daljit Nagra marks 10 years since the death of the Irish poet and playwright Seamus Heaney [30th August 2013]

This edition of the 麻豆约拍 World Service's Meridian Books sees Heaney in conversation about his life and writing with Leon McAuley.

From his childhood with horses, buckets, milking cows and daily lit fires to California and a sense of trust and possibility.

On his return from America in 1972 Heaney and his family moved to Dublin with the promise of poetry.
