Cerys' weekly round up of the blues you need to hear, from all around the world and in all shapes and sizes!

This week, Cerys welcomes musician Clive Carroll to The Blues Show to explore the blues influences in the music of John Renbourn, known for his acoustic guitar playing and as a founding member of Pentangle. A chance meeting with English guitar legend John Renbourn proved the catalyst for Clive’s debut album, Sixth Sense, which John Renbourn deemed β€œa milestone in the journey of the steel-string guitar”. He subsequently took Clive on the road with him and the pair toured North America and Europe together, launching Clive’s solo performing career. This year, Clive released The Abbot, a double album celebrating John's work.
