The parents finding hope in the darkness of war

Presenter Audrey Carville in conversation with Robi Damelin and Bassam Aramin, who have both lost children in the Middle East conflict.

It is hard to find any light amid the intense violence and suffering being endured in Gaz and Israel by all civilians.
There are some with long experience of conflict between Israelis and Palestinians who believe that calls for revenge only prolong the violence and that in a war, empathy and reconciliation are possible.
Robi Damelin and Bassam Aramin have both lost children in the conflict.
Robi is Israeli, living in Jaffa and Bassam is Palestinian who lives in Jericho,in the occupied West Bank.
They're both leading figures in an organisation called the Parents Circle Families Forum, which brings together bereaved parents across the divide to try to find common ground
