What's in Vernon's Vault today?
Presenter, game show inventor and author Richard Osman chooses his Tracks of My Years. Plus, two more contestants take on Ten to the Top and Vernon dives in to the archive.
Television presenter, game show inventor and author Richard Osman chooses his Tracks of My Years all this week.
Richard began his career in TV production, working on shows such as Whose Line Is It Anyway?, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Total Wipeout. Then, in 2009, he moved out from behind the camera after wowing executives with his pitch for Pointless, going on to co-present over 1500 episodes of the quiz show alongside Alexander Armstrong before stepping down last year.
Since the inception of Pointless, Richard has appeared as a presenter and guest on a variety of TV shows, including hosting of his own programme, Richard Osman’s House of Games. In 2020, Richard began his immensely successful career as an author with the release of The Thursday Murder Club, and the book and its two sequels have been international bestsellers.
Steven Spielberg no less has optioned the books for a film series, and now Richard is releasing book four in The Thursday Murder Club series, The Last Devil to Die. In the latest instalment, a dangerous package is smuggled across the English coast, but when it goes missing, chaos is unleashed. The body count starts to rise as the gang face an impossible search and their most deadly opponents yet.
With the clock ticking down and a killer heading to Cooper's Chase, has their luck finally run out? And who will be The Last Devil to Die?
There'll also be more audio nuggets as we dive in to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archive in Vernon's Vault, plus the mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top and a brand new Record and Album of the Week.
