Never Too Old to Dance

Elder dance company PRIME map their own life journeys into a new piece at the Fringe.

PRIME is a dance company born of a desire to change the under-representation of older dancers on stage and challenge stereotypes around ageing, ability, and who can be a dancer.

For this year’s Edinburgh festival, PRIME create The Infinite Life Journey, an emotional and uplifting new work that interprets the five stages of grief. The Culture Scene meets dancers Christine, Paul, Sara and Eleanor as they use their own lived experiences to explore the stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance, and prove wholeheartedly that you’re never too old to dance.
