Jacob Lusk from Gabriels joins Jo to co-host the show and pick some tunes that have influenced his life.

The LA-based trio Gabriels is made up of Jacob Lusk, Ari Balouzian and Ryan Hope. Having formed in 2016, they released their debut EP Love and Hate in a Different Time in June 2021. Elton John called the EP ‘one of the most seminal records I’ve heard of the past 10 years’.

Part I of their debut album Angels & Queens was released in September of 2022, and Part II came out in July of this year.

Jacob last dropped by during Jo’s Glastonbury special, mere hours before appearing on stage with Elton John during the latter’s headline slot. The pair sung a spectacular duet of ‘re You Ready for Love.
