The men’s wheelchair champion is crowned on the concluding day of the Wimbledon fortnight.

The men’s wheelchair champion is crowned on the concluding day of the Wimbledon fortnight.

Gordon Reid is the only British winner of the men’s wheelchair singles, when it was first held in 2016, while it's the only Grand Slam title missing for his doubles partner Alfie Hewett. Hewett lost last year's final to Shingo Kunieda and faced another Japanese player, 17-year-old Tokito Oda, in the first two Grand Slam finals of 2023. The teenager replaced Hewett as world number one – the youngest men's wheelchair player to achieve the accolade – after beating him in the 2023 French Open final.
