British rapper, singer and songwriter Stormzy released his breakthrough single Shut Up on YouTube in 2015. His 2017 debut album Gang Signs and Prayers was the first grime album to reach number one in the UK, and was followed by Heavy is the Head in 2019 and This is What I Mean in 2022. Stormzy has won three Brit Awards and an Ivor Novello, and has collaborated with the likes of Little Mix, Ed Sheeran and, most recently, Raye.
