Jim takes his wedding present round to No.6 The Green. He reassures Jazzer he hasn’t told anyone they didn’t actually get married because they’d arrived too late for their appointment. Jazzer declares Jim a brilliant best man. Brad hasn’t started packing yet for his stay at Ambridge View. When Tracy checks whether he minds staying there, Brad assures Tracy he’ll be fine sharing with George. Tracy tells him he’s a good lad. Tracy and Jazzer finish packing the car, and say their goodbyes. However the car won’t start.
Mia arrives and sympathises over the broken car. She hopes Brad will be alright at Ambridge View, and offers a listening ear at Grange Farm whenever he needs it. They could watch that film, or even have their own private film club. Brad likes the sound of that.
Just as Jazzer and Tracy begin to despair of ever leaving, Jim arrives with a small package – the key to his Riley. The car’s theirs forever, not just for their honeymoon. He’s been thinking about getting a different kind of vehicle for a while. Overwhelmed Tracy declares this the nicest thing anyone’s ever done. They all share hugs, and the happy couple are off. Jim tells Mia he’s thinking of getting an electric car. Mia’s pleased. When he’s gone she suggests to Brad they might cook something together. She’s disappointed their conversation at the reception was cut short by George. She’d been hoping Brad might kiss her. Brad offers to do it now. Mia thinks that would be really nice.
