Derry girl Kaycee Deery scoops UK Young Scientist of the Year. She came into studio with her very proud science teacher Anne Blanking MBE and fellow pupil Becca Connolly. It is an amazing achievement for their school St Mary's College and the Derry Girls are modest and unassuming. They also talked about their teacher and her fun facts! "We couldn't do it without her" they say of Mrs Blanking who runs the school's Chemistry Club and brings in crisps & biscuits for them!
Also today is International Women in Engineering Day and Mark hears from Joanne Sweeney GEMX North West about female teachers and young women going into engineering.
