Hay Fever, Badgers and the Pitlochry Dam and Salmon Ladder

Mark joins Heather Hamilton, project officer at the Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust, to find out how they have been regenerating the community woodland of Dun Coillich.

Rachel visits artists Adrian Watson from Aberdeen Inspired and Eliose Gillow, who have been painting 'Rewilding' themed murals, as part of Nuart Aberdeen 2023.

Mark went along to the Pitlochry Dam and Salmon Ladder to have a chat with Hydro Operations Environment Manager, Andrew Jacobs, about the local ladder climbing salmon.

As Scottish Coastal Clean-Up urged local communities to clear as much rubbish from our coastlines as possible, Rachel joins volunteers, Kate Millar, Wendy Murray and Lynne Fotheringham at a beach clean-up at East Haven beach in Angus, to mark World Ocean Day.

Mark goes undercover at a Badger Sett at Dun Coillich, near Pitlochry, to see if he can get eyes on the resident badger family. The Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust’s assistant officer, Fred Cochrane, gives him the lowdown on the sett.
