Men’s shed, hungry cows and horsing around!
A men’s shed on the banks of Lough Erne revives basket making and a horse farm opens its gates to the world of farming for city children.
Rural living can be isolating at times but this week Countryside champions those bringing people together. Presenter, Nicola Weir, travels to Fermanagh to talk to the men making willow baskets on the banks of Lough Erne – but will David McElhinney get into trouble with the ladies in Lisnaskea? She also speak to Pauline Lusby at City of Derry Equestrian Centre who moved from beef to horses on her farm and is now opening it up to city children. Irish Black Butter is also on the menu in the Houses of Parliament and farmer Martyn Blair gets heckled by his cattle in Finvoy.
