Coronation Classics

Celebrating Scotland’s classical world, Jamie MacDougall highlights the work of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra in concert and other Scottish artists and ensembles.

Inspired by the Coronation this weekend, Jamie opens with Handel’s Music For The Royal Fireworks performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Also on the programme, spellbinding music from Monteverdi and the Dunedin Consort, Rimsky-Korsakov's exotic musical tale of Scheherazade with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ SSO, plus Scottish Opera performs a classic comedy set on a boat.
