Brìghde Chaimbeul is a leading purveyor of experimental Celtic music. Her piping has earned her a Â鶹ԼÅÄ Young Folk Award and a Â鶹ԼÅÄ Horizon Award, having brought her instrument to a global stage. She has worked with a range of artists, most recently she can be heard on Caroline Polachek's single 'Blood and Butter'. Her second album 'Carry Them With Us', out now on Glitterbeat, is an exhilarating weave of rich textural drones, trance-like atmospheres and instrumental folk traditions. Acclaimed Canadian sound explorer and saxophonist Colin Stetson is the featured collaborator on the record.
