Actor, presenter and former Hear’Say star Kym Marsh chooses her Tracks Of My Years.

Kym first found fame after appearing on the hit reality TV show Popstars, and was put in the group Hear'Say alongside Suzanne Shaw, Noel Sullivan, Danny Foster and Myleene Klass.

After several hit singles, she left the band in 2002 for a solo career, and after an album titled Standing Tall in 2003, she moved to acting. Kym went on to star in London’s West End, playing Annette in Saturday Night Fever, as well as appearing in Doctors and Hollyoaks: In the City. Then, in 2006, she joined the cast of Coronation Street in the role of Michelle Connor, and stayed in Weatherfield for 14 years.

During her time on the famous cobbles, Kym picked up a raft of prizes, including Best Newcomer at the 2007 British Soap Awards and the 2007 National Television Awards, plus she won the gong for Best Female Dramatic Performance at the 2017 British Soap Awards.

Since then, she has appeared in shows including The Syndicate and Waterloo Road, and Kym’s now a regular presenter on hit daytime TV show Morning Live on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One. In 2022, Kym was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, and made it to the quarter finals with professional partner Graziano Di Prima. Kym’s also dabbled with the stage, and after playing the iconic role of Alex Forest in a nationwide theatre tour of Fatal Attraction, she’s about to embark on a new theatre role.

She’ll soon be embarking on a major UK and Ireland tour in the official Take That musical Greatest Days, where she’ll be appearing on stage alongside her daughter Emilie Cunliffe. Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Take That’s first ever UK number one single Pray, the show features more than 15 Take That songs alongside what’s been billed as 'a heart-warming and hilarious story of love, loss and laughter'.

Kym's next two choices come from Whitney Houston and Vanilla Ice.

Plus, Gary's got another edition of Radio 2’s new mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top, as well as the Love Song messages and the Record and Album of the Week.
