Jo is joined for the evening by Everything But the Girl.
Formed in 1982, Everything But the Girl is made up of Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt. Over the following 17 years they released ten albums, four of which reached the top ten in the UK album charts. Their 1994 hit Missing made it to the top three, and was nominated for both a Brit Award and an Ivor Novello.
Over 20 years after their last release, Everything But the Girl's 11th album came out on 21 April. Recorded in secret at home and in a small riverside studio in Bath, Fuse is a modern take on the electronic soul Everything But the Girl are known for.
Tracy and Ben join Jo in the studio to talk about the new album, play songs that are important to them, and even share some tracks recorded live for us at Maida Vale!
