He talks lovingly of his parents and idyllic childhood growing up in Auchterhouse, near Dundee before moving to London when restaurants were undergoing a revolution. He worked with Alistair Little, Simon Hopkinson and Terence Conran and has now firmly established himself as one of the most revered, entertaining and adored chefs in London.
