Exclusive after exclusive from the Curaçao-born, Netherlands-based brother and sister duo Andy and Dorothy Sherman, aka Shermanology!
'Over the past few years we locked ourselves in the studio. We didn’t have a clue what we were going to do with all these tracks. But it felt good, so we just kept creating. When we got asked to do the Essential Mix, we were honoured. So we thought why not make a mix where we can show the listeners our musical journey in a two hour mix!'
'The mix includes a collaboration with our dad Tony Sherman on vocals called Can’t Let Go. The track Loko Loko is in our native language 'papiamentu' from Curaçao. We made this track with some good friends from Curaçao, called Kuenta, and on vocals we have Dorothy with our cousin Liesje who is also from Curaçao. Plus we've included our version of an all-time garage classic, because I used to be the front singer of Artful Dodger, and that's why you can always hear UK garage influences in our music.'
