The Love Song and Nigel Harman

Nigel Harman - award-winning theatre actor and star of EastEnders, Hotel Babylon and now Casualty - chooses his Tracks of My Years this week. Plus, PopMaster's back at 10:30.

Nigel Harman - award-winning theatre actor and star of EastEnders, Hotel Babylon and now Casualty - chooses his Tracks of My Years all this week.

First coming to widespread attention as Dennis Watts - son of Den and Angie - in EastEnders, Nigel's had a wide and varied career that includes dancing on a cruise ship, directing Kelsey Grammer, appearing in Downton Abbey and winning an Olivier Award for his role in the musical version of Shrek.

In his latest big role, Nigel's joined the cast of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One's Casualty, starring as doctor Max Christie. Described as 'charming, brilliant and a lovable rogue who lives by his own rules,' Max Christie is the doctor everyone wants to be treated by. However, not all the staff at Holby ED will be happy to see him - notably current clinical lead Dylan, who is less than pleased to be reacquainted with a face from the past.

Nigel's other theatre credits include Mamma Mia, Guys and Dolls, Glengarry Glen Ross and The School For Scandal, while on TV we've also seen him in Mount Pleasant, Red Cap and Lark Rise To Candleford.

Nigel's next two choices are from Soul II Soul and The Who.

Ken's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's Love Song. There's also the Record and Album of the Week. If you want to contact the show, just email ken.bruce@bbc.co.uk.
