Tom Chaplin - lead singer of Keane turned solo star - performs live at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Maida Vale for the latest Radio 2 Piano Room, with his three-song set including a special Taylor Swift cover.

It's now 20 years since Keane released their first commercial single, bringing the hugely distinctive voice of Tom Chaplin in to the mainstream for the first time. With the band, Tom's sold over 13 million records, with debut album Hopes & Fears the best-selling LP of 2004.

Tom's also a hugely popular solo performer, and last year he released his third album Midpoint to critical acclaim.

Plus, Belle & Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch chooses his Tracks of My Years. Formed in the mid-90s, the idea behind the group was to stay on a small scale, to keep it as a project and not let the band run their lives; planning to release two albums and break up.

Instead they have delivered multiple classic albums over the years including like If You're Feeling Sinister and The Boy With the Arab Strap, and latest LP Late Developers - a recent Radio 2 Album of the Week - has given us new single I Don’t Know What You See in Me.
