Charlie Dore plays live

The best folk and acoustic music from Britain and beyond. With songwriter Charlie Dore live in session.

The best folk and acoustic music from Britain and beyond.

Songwriter Charlie Dore plays live in the company of her long-time musical 'brother' Julian Littman.

Since the late 1970s, Charlie has been a prolific presence in music. She achieved chart hits in the UK and USA, and her songs have been recorded by Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Sheena Easton, George Harrison, Jimmy Nail, Paul Carrack and Ricky Ross.

In recent times, Charlie has concentrated on solo acoustic work, producing a run of thoughtful bittersweet albums including Like Animals (2020), Dark Matter (2017), Milk Roulette (2014) and Cheapskate Lullabyes (2011).

Charlie and Julian met in drama school at the age of 16, and have both combined acting and music throughout their careers. The pair are embarking on a succession of Short Circuit mini-tours in 2023.
