Jamie's guest this week is the talented UK pianist Charlie Stacey, who joins for a Take 5 interview. A member of Yussef Dayes' group for a number of years, Charlie has just released the first album under his own name - The Light Beyond Time. He talks about his influences, routes into jazz and how the album came together. He selects tracks from Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock and tyroneisaacstewart.
Plus, to celebrate the launch of Radio 2's piano room month, Jamie has tracks from great pianists including Mary Lou Williams and Vince Guaraldi!
