Dawn started out in TV production after dropping out of drama school in Liverpool. She quickly landed in front of the camera, making numerous documentaries for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and Channel 4, the most famous being her immersive investigations of polygamy, size zero, childbirth, free love, breast cancer and the movie 'Dirty Dancing'.
Dawn was the monthly columnist for Glamour Magazine, she loves Instagram, is a prolific tweeter, designs dresses and has a large following on her blog.
She also manages her own website, and is obsessed with vintage clothing and recently set up her own clothing label. She's married to actor and comedian Chris O’Dowd and lives in LA.
Dawn is the critically acclaimed author of 'Paper Aeroplanes' and 'Goose' and has also written 'Diaries of an Internet Lover', 'So Lucky' and 'The Cows' (which has been featured on the Sunday Times Best Sellers list)
Her new novel is 'Cat Lady', a story about defying labels and forging friendships.
Dawn’s next two choices come from Spice Girls and Burt Bacharach.
