Writer, musician and broadcaster Carrie Marshall joins Nicola to chat her fab, and funny - and enlightening - new memoir, CARRIE KILLS A MAN.

Legendary performance poet, musician and comedian John Hegley tells Nicola how he is planning to spread Christmas cheer with his Pre-Christmas Cracker.

Nicola pays tribute to rock royalty Christine McVie, best known for her incredible singing and song writing for Fleetwood Mac, who died at the age of seventy-nine.

Also good news for Edinburgh International Film Festival, following last month’s announcement of its loss alongside the Edinburgh Filmhouse and Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen as funding looks to be secured to help its future; Scotsman’s art correspondent Brian Ferguson and film critic Siobhan Synnott joins Nicola to tell us more and to remind us why this is such an important story for film-lovers – and film-makers – in Scotland and beyond.
