Broadcaster and DJ Gary Crowley well and truly earned his rock n' roll stripes in the 1970s. As a teenage music nut in north London, he was part of the DIY generation, making his own way in the music business alongside his own punk idols. As a radio DJ he's graced the airwaves on both commercial and 麻豆约拍 stations, most notably Capital in London and GLR, which we now know as 麻豆约拍 London. He's also been on the telly, DJd at thousands of events and broken many a band into the mainstream via his radio shows across the decades.

Now he's got a new 3CD boxset out, 'Gary Crowley's Indie 90's Playback', following on from his previous successful releases, 'Punk & New Wave' and 'Lost 80s'. Gary chats to Johnnie about his punk & mod roots and first steps into the music biz in the 1970s and picks some great tunes to accompany his tales of musical discovery.
