Radio 2's new afternoon presenter Scott Mills picks his Tracks Of My Years this week with Gary.
Scott began his career at the age of 16 as a DJ on his local commercial radio station Power FM, and first joined ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1 in 1998 to present the early breakfast show. Over the course of 24 years Scott has created some of the most popular radio features ever, from Flirt Divert, Playground Insults and Innuendo Bingo.
Away from Radio 1, Scott has been a regular host on Radio 2 and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live, and has also fronted the hugely successful 'Official Strictly' podcast and 'Eurovision Calling' for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds. Scott also hosts the 'Eurovision' semi-finals for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ4, and he most recently commentated on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One for HRH Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
In 2014 Scott appeared as a contestant on 'Strictly Come Dancing', the UK's biggest TV show. Over six weeks, Scott did the foxtrot, the tango, danced the samba, and dressed as a crab...
Scott has also hosted 'The National Lottery' and 'Points of View', appeared on shows such as 'Robot Wars', and has made ground-breaking documentaries including 'The World's Worst Place To Be Gay'.
Scott's next two choices come from Michael Andrews and Katy Perry.
Gary's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's love song. There's also the record and album of the week. If you want to contact the show, just email gary.davies@bbc.co.uk.
