Kiri Pritchard McLean, James IV, The Diaries of Alan Rickman

Janice talks to the cast of Rona Munro's latest play, James IV: Queen of the Fight, plus comedian Kiri Pritchard McLean.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Young Musician of the Year finalist Ethan Loch celebrates with Janice after being revealed as the Keyboard category winner last night. He talks about how his relationship with sounds and music have been influenced by a genetic eye condition meaning he’s been blind since birth.

Acclaimed playwright Rona Munro’s latest in her series of James Plays takes audiences to 1504 and the royal courts of James IV. She explores the period through the eyes of two black Moorish women Ellen and Anne who are finding their way in a dangerous world where war is close, promises need not be kept, and poets hold power. Performers Daniel Cahill and Danielle Jam share what it was like helping to uncover this true and unknown part of history in James IV: Queen of the Fight.
