Britain’s team is set to include Tom Pidcock, who has already won the world cyclo-cross title and the European mountain bike crown in 2022, and will be trying to add a road title to his eclectic haul of honours. And having won a stage of this year’s Tour de France on the legendary Alpe d’Huez, the climb up Mount Keira on Australia’s south eastern coast won’t faze the Yorkshire rider.
