In the spring of 2016, Radio 2 recorded a special programme to celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Now, to mark the very sad news of the death of the Queen, Ken Bruce revisits those heart-warming stories and in particular the wonderful music as he remembers Our Queen through the music that she loved.
With the original interviews and contributions from the people who knew the Queen best - her family and friends, including the Honourable Margaret Rhodes, Lady Elizabeth Anson, Lady Jean Carnarvon and the former Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall.
And not forgetting the wonderful music from George Formby and Vera Lynn, musicals including Oklahoma and Kiss Me Kate plus music from Military Bands, Pipes, Hymns and the Commonwealth.
