Gary West introduces a high-energy studio session from the bagpipe-infused folk band, Rura, and chats to Piping Live festival director, Finlay MacDonald, about this year's lineup.

With Piping Live 2022 just around the corner, Gary West chats to festival director, Finlay MacDonald, who picks out some highlights of what is on offer in August, including music from Allan MacDonald, the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland, Pipe Major Alasdair Gillies and New York based avant garde bagpipe-led jazzers, Blarvuster. Festival headliners, Rura, also popped by the studio to record four exclusive high energy sets for us and to chat about life on the road, post lockdown.
