Tógadh é i gCill Mhantáin i dteaghlach iontach ceolmhar agus chaith sé a óige ag foghlaim pianó, giotár, cruit, sacsafón agus eile, agus ag seinm sa bhanna ceoil Mo Hat Mo Gheansaà lena dheartháir Tadhg. Tar éis na mblianta mar cheoltóir seisiúin le leithéidà Villagers, tá sé i gceist ag OisÃn a aird a dhÃriú anois ar a chuid ceoil féin a eisiúint faoin ainm cleite O Deer, ag meascadh fuaimeanna saibhre ón dúlra agus eile lena chuid cumadóireachta agus amhránaÃochta féin ar rianta ar nós Waterside, Staying at Â鶹ԼÅÄ, agus Jetlag.
Caoimhe Chats Nà Chathail meets some of our most exciting contemporary musicians and singers to hear about their journey through music. OisÃn Walsh-Peelo is a man of many talents: a musician, composer and singer who grew up in a musical household in Wicklow and spent his school days learning piano, guitar, harp, saxophone and more, and playing in the band Mo Hat Mo Gheansaà with his brother Tadhg. After years as a session musician with the likes of Villagers, OisÃn is now turning his attention to releasing his own music under the pen name O Deer, adding the richness of field recordings from nature and elsewhere to his own creative compositions such as Waterside, Staying at Â鶹ԼÅÄ and Jetlag.
