Mutya Buena's final Tracks Of My Years
Mutya Buena from Sugababes chooses her final two Tracks of My Years with Ken. Plus there's The Love Song, the latest Record and Album of The Week, and PopMaster at 10:30.
Mutya Buena - co-founder of the platinum-selling girl group Sugababes - picks her final two Tracks of My Years. Alongside her band mates Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya enjoyed six number one singles and two number one studio albums in the noughties, making the group one of the most successful girlbands of the 21st century.
Last year the group marked twenty years since the release of their iconic debut album ‘One Touch’ by releasing a special anniversary edition. Upon its original release, 'One Touch' garnered critical acclaim across the board, went gold, and spawned the singles 'Overload', 'New Year', 'Run For Cover' and 'Soul Sound' which hit the charts around the world.
Mutya left Sugababes in 2005 and released her debut solo album 'Real Girl' in 2007, featuring her George Michael duet 'This Is Not Real Love' as well as the LP's title track, which featured in the film 'Sex & The City 2'.
Sugababes saw several line-up changes over the years, but now the original trio of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan are back together and playing live again, with a 17 date UK tour scheduled for November and December.
Mutya's final two choices come from The Spice Girls and Justin Timberlake.
Plus Ken's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's love song. There's also the record and album of the week. If you want to contact the show, just email ken.bruce@bbc.co.uk
