Peil na mBan, Iománaíocht, GAA for All ag freastal ar dhaoine faoi mhíchumas foghlama agus ar dhaoine le riachtanais speisialta.

Ladies’ Gaelic Football, Hurling, GAA for All

Seachtain Feasachta um Míchumas Foghlama atá ann an tseachtain seo agus cluinimid ó Ghearóidín Ní Thaibhís faoin bhealach atá an CLG, faoi bhrat GAA for All, ag freastal ar dhaoine faoi mhíchumas foghlama agus ar dhaoine le riachtanais speisialta atá ag iarraidh a bheith páirteach sna cluichí Gaelacha. Tá an t-iarpheileadóir idir-chontae Charlie Vernon linn le scagadh a dhéanamh ar an chluiche peile ban idir Ard Mhacha agus curaidh na hÉireann, An Mhí, chomh maith le réamhbhlaiseadh a thabhairt ar an aicsean i gCraobh na bhFear an deireadh seachtaine seo chugainn. Tugann Réamaí Ó hEaráin a bharúil féin ar mhórchluichí iománaíochta an deireadh seachtaine, agus focal aige faoi iománaí Thír Eoghain, Damian Casey, a cailleadh go tragóideach agus é ar saoire sa Spáinn.

It’s Learning Disability Awareness Week and we chat to Gearóidín Ní Thaibhís about the ways the GAA, under the GAA for All umbrella, is encouraging people with learning disabilities and/or additional needs to get involved in Gaelic games. Former inter-county footballer Charlie Vernon joins us to chat about the hard-fought Championship clash between Armagh Ladies and All-Ireland champions Meath, and to give us a preview of next weekend’s action in the men’s Championship. Plus, Réamaí Ó hEaráin assesses the big hurling fixtures of the weekend, as well as paying tribute to the talented Tyrone hurler Damian Casey who died tragically while on holiday in Spain.
