Following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, another chance now to hear a concert recorded in June this year, to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

From Elizabeth I, played by Bette Davis in Hollywood’s The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex, to Elizabeth II played by Claire Foy, Olivia Colman and Imelda Staunton in TV’s The Crown, monarchs on screen have long been accompanied by majestic music.

Enjoy a concert of splendid tunes, lush ballads and classical repertoire that conjure monarchs’ worlds, including music from King’s Rhapsody, Camelot, The Queen, Shakespeare in Love and The King & I.

And no concert of royal music would be complete without Walton’s glorious Crown Imperial, the march written for George’s VI’s coronation and later performed at Elizabeth II’s, the first televised coronation.
