Vic’s session guests are a collaborative trio led by singer/instrumentalist James Yorkston with Indian Classical musician Ranjana Ghatak and bassist Jon Thorne. Tonight’s set sees the trio exploring the sounds of the harmonium/double bass/tanpura/nyckelharpa/ guitar and voice, including their unique take on a classic Velvet Underground track. Plus this week’s Triple A – All-Time Alternative Album – is the 2009 Camera Obscura album My Maudlin Career.
