The church was built in 1839 of locally quarried sandstone and has seventeen stained glass windows designed by William Morris. The tower holds six bells, cast in 2012 by Royal Eijsbouts bell foundry of the Netherlands with a tenor weighing six hundredweight and tuned to the note of B. We hear them ringing Spliced Surprise Minor.
