Mark Gatiss

Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad share stories of guest hospitality, meet an 82-year old charity champion cycling the country and chat to actor, writer and director Mark Gatiss.

Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present uplifting stories about life, love and modern spirituality, alongside a great soundtrack for your Sunday morning.

This morning their guest is Mark Gatiss, who stars in ‘The Road Dance’, a coming-of-age drama set in 1917 in the Outer Hebrides. Kate and Jason find out what it was like filming a movie during a pandemic and how, by filming on the Island, it helped save a number of community initiatives from collapse.

The Road Dance has won Audience Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival and the Jury Prize for Feature at the Manchester Film Festival.

We also meet a brand new Charity Champion, Gina Harris from Birmingham, who is preparing to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats, to raise money for Women's Aid and Refuge. If she manages to complete the challenge, at 82-years old, she will be the oldest woman ever to bike the length of Britain.

Plus, Pause for Thought.
