Marie-Louise showcases two powerful new Northern Irish exhibitions in this week's trip to the Culture Cafe.
Seen to be Heard is by photographer Jennifer Willis, and features portraits of sixteen women diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer. It's at Belfast Exposed, and seeks to affect change in the way people with this diagnosis are treated.
The Ulster American Folk Park's Bad Bridget brings to life the stories of six women who emigrated from Ireland to the USA around the turn of the 20th century, with a riot of images, spoken word, sights and - yes - smells.
