First-time mum Hannah has decided on a water birth. She’s in safe hands under the watchful care of team leader Laura.
Midwife Steph is by the side of an NHS colleague who’s planning to have her second home birth. Sonia works as a hospital ward midwife. However, it’s not all plain sailing for Sonia and husband Ashok.
Midwife Gemma is caring for plumber Lysette and partner Pete. The couple met through a shared passion for an unusual hobby - World War Two re-enactments. In true vintage style, they hope their baby will be born at home.
