Women's Strength with Poorna Bell

Dr Rangan Chatterjee chats to award-winning journalist and author Poorna Bell.

Dr Rangan Chatterjee presents Radio 2’s health and wellbeing show. This week he's joined by award-winning journalist and author Poorna Bell.

She speaks to him just ahead of International Women's Day on the subject of Women's Strength. Poorna has created an inspiring online presence called See My Strong which aims to counteract how women's fitness is usually portrayed. Her latest book, Stronger: Changing Everything I Knew About Women's Strength, is part manifesto, part memoir and charts her journey from when her husband passed away to becoming a competitive powerlifter.
