As natural beauty is in, obviously filled lips are out. We hear about the complications that can arise if the correct substance isn't used to dissolve lip filler.
As natural beauty is in, obviously filled lips are out. Dr MJ Rowland-Warmann specialises in facial aesthetics and joins us to warn of the complications that can arise when having filler removed incorrectly. The substance used to dissolve filler - Hyaluronidase - needs a prescription, so the non medical practitioners who do fillers can't always remove them safely. We hear from one woman who tried to get filler removed with different practitioners 14 times before successfully having it dissolved with Hyaluronidase.
Recent figures from the Office for National Statistics showed a record number of women are not having children before 30. But is that down to the fact people can't afford children before then due to childcare costs, unaffordable housing and the rising cost of living? We hear from Katherine O'Brien from the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, a charity whose aim is to avoid unwanted pregnancy, and Nicola Thorp a broadcaster who's written about why women under 30 aren’t having kids.
