In this episode, Iain reads excerpts from Gliocas bhon Bhìoball by Donald Saunders, and Mairi MacInnes narrates from The Mother’s Catechism. Iain also introduces fitting hymns and psalms – some recorded especially for this series of Alleluia.
Amongst the performers is Mary Ann Kennedy singing Tha M’ Anam ‘g Èirigh Riut a Dhè and Willie Campbell with the hymn Faisg air mo Dhia. Niall MacLennan and Alasdair MacPhee duet with Psalm 42 and Joy Dunlop sings Psalm 19. Father Eric Kwiecień of Poland presents his chosen reading and reflects on its personal meaning whilst visiting South Uist.
