Michelle McManus launches 100 Years of Scottish Stories and hears from some of Scotland’s best-loved names who reveal how stories passed down within their family have been a source of inspiration to them.

Singer songwriter Emeli SandΓ© reveals why she has such strong commitment to education, actor and comedian Sanjeev Kohli shares a story of family courage, Sir Geoff Palmer describes the sacrifices his mum made to bring him to the UK, poet Jackie Kay shares a family story from Christmas past, and two of Scotland's favourite panto stars, Allan Stewart and Grant Stott recall the family get togethers that gave them a love of performance.

To coincide with the centenary of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in 2022, Radio Scotland wants to look back at the last 100 years of Scotland, through the people that live here today.
