Simon Halfon on Supersonic book and Tuesday Review

Oasis documentary producer Simon Halfon talks to Janice about his book, Supersonic. Plus Tuesday Review looks at the great picks of Christmas TV this year.

Janice will be hearing from Simon Halfon who produced the Oasis documentary, Supersonic and who will be talking about his book with the same name, which chronicles Oasis from their formative years leading up to their landmark gigs at Knebworth Park in 1996. It’s the first-ever authorised book from Oasis and is made up of over 30 hours of transcripted interviews with the band and those closest to them.

Former moderator of the Church of Scotland and singer with The Bogle Band, Reverend Albert Bogle will be chatting to Janice about his new single and sharing some words of comfort about how the power of music can help our well-being.

The Christmas special episode of Uncanny, the podcast that tells us real-life stories of paranormal encounters is live on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sounds tonight so that fans can gather, listen and interact at the same time. Presenter Danny Robins tells Janice about this episode which is set in a bothy in the Scottish Highlands.

And with some great TV coming up over the Christmas period, our reviewers Catherine Simpson and Bronwen Livingstone give their thoughts on an adaptation of Around the World in 80 days starring David Tennant; Claire Foy and Paul Bettany star in A Very British Scandal, and the animated adventure in Terry Pratchett’s The Abominable Snow Baby
