The band are celebrating the latest in their unbroken run of nine Number 1 studio albums. Their ninth album, Music of the Spheres, is set in a fictional planetary system called The Spheres, which contains nine planets, three natural satellites, a star and a nebula, each of which corresponds to a certain track on the record. They're embarking on a global stadium tour in 2022.

Coldplay have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. They’ve won nine Brit Awards, seven Grammy Awards, and the band's first three albums - Parachutes (2000), A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), and X&Y (2005) - are among the best-selling albums in UK chart history.
